This victory was the result of a sustained, committed, grassroots effort in the community. Equality Loudoun members are involved in a parallel effort with the Loudoun County School Board.
Equality Loudoun is ongoingly engaged with educating the Loudoun County Public School Board with the need for policies which explicitly protect LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students from discrimination and harassment.
Please join us at the Loudoun County School Board meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. These meetings are open to the public at 21000 Education Court Ashburn, VA 20148 and begin at 6:30pm. You may sign up to speak by calling (571) 252-1020 or email clerk@lcps.org. The School Board’s agenda is usually posted on-line on the Friday before the meeting. After the public comments period of the meeting, we usually meet at the nearby Whole Foods for further planning
Please note, there is no July meeting.
